Who Is The Chapel?
A little pocket of peace on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, The Chapel invites couples to slow down and celebrate love in its most honest form. Rooted in inclusion, warmth, and timeless elegance, this venue honours every story — providing a thoughtfully preserved sanctuary where love is truly seen and beautifully held..
Our Approach
At Sunstone Studio, we set out to capture the heart of The Chapel through a brand identity steeped in meaning and modern grace. From the romantic colour palette — maroon drawn from its original bricks, beige for warmth and tenderness, and a soft ocean blue as a nod to its coastal soul — every element was chosen with care.
The refined typography and custom monogram submark combine tradition and modernity, forming a quiet symbol of unity and love. The circular submark hints at a wedding ring and diamond — minimal yet emotionally rich, reflecting the intimate spirit of the space itself.
The Brand in the Making
This project was more than brand design — it was a love letter to thoughtful design. We collaborated closely with the team to translate their mission into a brand experience that feels calm, sacred, and beautifully held. The visual language is soft but grounded, intentional but effortless — a mirror of what The Chapel offers: beauty without excess, and meaning without noise.
The End Result
An elevated, quietly confident brand that embodies the intimacy and emotion of the weddings it hosts. With timeless design, heartfelt messaging, and a visual identity that speaks softly but resonates deeply, The Chapel now stands as a modern sanctuary — one that welcomes every kind of love, just as it is.
